Little Tykes Trading Post celebrates 15-year anniversary
Weekend celebration includes free activities, giveaways
Kris Ritter set out 15 years ago to open a children’s consignment shop that was different from the rest. Fast forward 15 years and her store is still keeping the cost of growing up down.
To celebrate the many friends, employees and customers who have supported Kris and Little Tykes over the years, there will be giveaways, family-friendly activities and a storewide sale Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. If you’ve been touched by Little Tykes and its staff over the past 15 years, come by and say hi!
Friday and Saturday there will be chalk art and storewide sales. There will also be FREE Melissa and Doug craft and toy demonstrations for children and parents Friday and Saturday from 1-2 p.m.
The first 15 sales on Friday will receive FREE sidewalk chalk. On Saturday, children will be able to play in a bounce house from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
To celebrate and thank consignors who have supported Little Tykes over the past 15 years, current and past consignors will receive additional sales all weekend. Consignor numbers 1,500 and below will receive 30% off any item of their choosing, consignors with a number between 1,501-3,000 will receive 25% off any item of their choosing and consignor numbers 3,001 and greater will receive 20% off any item of their choosing.
In addition to sales, Little Tykes will also be gathering donations for Arapahoe County Foster Care. Little Tykes is asking customers to bring in diapers and wipes to support this local nonprofit. Arapahoe County Foster Care is currently receiving donations from Little Tykes on a weekly basis.
